When a fill will not hold
Need windshield replacement McAllen after a long crack, an edge hit, or damage in the camera path? Bring the vehicle to Fix-A-Crack at 304 E Pecan Blvd, Suite P. We replace glass in the shop. Call 956-360-0178.
A repair is the first look. If the break is too long, sits on the edge, or sits in the driver view or camera zone, we quote a replace before the old glass comes out.
How the job runs
You call or send year, make, model, and a photo. We check parts, cameras, and rain sensors. In the bay we cut out the old windshield, set the new glass in fresh urethane, and give you a real drive-away time. Same-day depends on the part.
Work is in-shop only. We do not offer home or mobile glass service. Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30, Sat 12-4, Sun closed.
Cameras after new glass
Many late-model cars need calibration after the windshield comes out. Ask your carrier whether that labor sits in the glass claim. We schedule camera work when the vehicle needs it. See ADAS calibration.
Insurance vs cash
Comprehensive often covers a replace after the deductible. Liability-only usually does not. We inspect first, then you decide. Details: will insurance cover windshield replacement.
After the install
Workmanship, leaks, and defects terms are on after your glass work. That is not a free 12-month road-hazard replacement plan. A new rock hit is a new inspection.
Smaller pits that still fill belong on chip repair. Book windshield replacement McAllen: call 956-360-0178 with year, make, model, and a photo.
Plan a short wait while urethane sets. Ask about drive-away time before you leave. Fleet and retail use the same shop line. If a sensor light stays on after a replace done somewhere else, say so when you call. Parts on some makes take extra time. We say that up front.
