Located in McAllen, TX. Craft Social is a do-it-yourself (DIY) craft studio that is owned and operated in the local community. They supply customers with the instructions and materials necessary to create their own unique crafts. Their mission is to gather people from the neighborhood together in order to build something beautiful and meaningful that will stay for a very long time. If you want to stay up to date on the various craft projects they are working on, follow them on social media. Take home a handicraft that reflects your individual style and creativity. We welcome guests of all ages. There is no requirement for artistic experience here. Get ready to enjoy some laughs and let your imagination run wild!
They are happy to host your celebration of any unique occasion, such as a birthday party, a corporate event, a baby or bridal shower, a bachelorette or bachelor party, group get-togethers, team bonding events, and many others. You can make a reservation for a Minimum of 8 Guests and a Minimum of 2 Hours. They provide special rates for groups, and if you ask, they will create crafts with a subject matter of your choosing. The Mercado District does not prohibit visitors from bringing in their own food and beverages.
Craft Social will offer a wide range of revolving projects from which you can select one to work on. Participation is open to people of any and all ages. Anyone can participate in their arts and crafts projects; previous experience is not required. The door is always open for walk-in customers! You also have the option of calling ahead to book a spot for yourself. Depending on how much you’re enjoying yourself, their craft time often lasts anywhere from one to two hours. If there is a special event or a class session, please send them a direct message through their Instagram or Facebook profiles to obtain additional information and to reserve your seat. Be prepared to make something, whether you’re just passing by or you have a reservation. They supply everything one might require in order to creatively express oneself. You will receive all of the necessary materials as well as detailed instructions.
